Twinline

Twinline is a national, confidential, support, listening and information service for all parents of twins, triplets and more, and the professionals involved in their care.

It is staffed by trained volunteers who are parents of multiples, and can answer questions on many topics including slepp, feeding, crying, behaviour, discipline or special needs.

Often all the caller needs is five minutes breathing space, a chat or a listening ear from someone who can identify with their situation.

Telephone: 0800 138 0509

The service operates from 10am to 1pm and from 7pm to 10pm, every day, all year round.

If you need to speak to someone out of Twinline hours, you can call the Tamba office on 0870 770 3305, or email asktwinline@tamba.org.uk

Quotes from typical Twinline calls:

"After finding out I was expecting triplets, I was very glad to know there was somebody who understood my shock as well as happiness"

"It's such a relief to speak to someone who knows exactly what you are going through.  As we are all too aware, people who do not have multiples do not understand.  Thank you, Twinline"

"Twinline is such an excellent idea.  I rang on several occasions when things got tough at home.  My partner works long shifts and it has been good to have someone to talk to."
