Saving lives, supporting families

Our Favourite Part of the Day

24th November 2017

From the moment the alarm goes (and by alarm, we mean little ones bouncing on the bed) to the moment they drift off to sleep, every day is a delight when you have twins, triplets or more.

The life of a multiples parent is undoubtedly challenging, but the rewards are double, treble or quadruple.

We recently asked our amazing families to tell us their favourite part of the day. We loved so many of the answers, we even had enough to create an entire fantasy day. Enjoy!

Wake Up!

“When my twin girls wake up and come running into the bedroom to see their baby twin brothers. The love they have for each other is amazing.” – Sarah

“My morning snuggles with my boy twin before anyone else is up as we’re both early rises (mummy and girl twin, not so much).” – Simon

“Morning time when I go into their room and see their little faces and how happy they are to see me.” – Cindy

Morning Multiples

“Feeding them in the morning and watching Teletubbies, Hey Duggee, Octonauts etc. Love it.” – Loretta

“When they look at each other and smile or laugh at something I will never know.” – Hayley

“I love when my twins call ‘Mummmmmyyyyyy’ and I go to watch them show me something new.” – Nicole

“Mornings when you see their faces.” – Jen

Lovely at Lunch

“When they burp and don’t chuck it all back over you.” – Steve

Afternoon Giggles

“When they come back from being out without me and scream ‘Mummy’ and give the biggest, tightest hug ever.” – Nat

“Picking them up after school. I get so many hugs and kisses.” – Cherie

“When I get in from work and make dinner for my two-year-old twins. Precious quality time after missing them all day.” – Chichel

“When I get a phone call from any of my children.” – Shannon

Bedtime….finally!

“Snuggled up to me whilst I read bedtime stories.” – Sarah

“Sleep at bedtime when they are safe and snug and you can let go of worries (to some extent).” - Jane

“When I check on them before I go to bed. I always get this surge of love watching them sleep.” – Michelle
