7 Book quotes that parents of twins, triplets or more will love

7th March 2019

Today marks World Book Day. A day to celebrate wonderful books, encourage kids to read and for lots of our little ones, and excuse to dress up as their favourite book characters!

Here’s some quotes from some classic books that we think all parents of twins, triplets or more will love.

“Promise me you’ll remember, you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think” - A.A.Milne, Winnie the Pooh

If you are struggling or feeling overwhelmed, it can help to talk to someone. Twinline is open daily 10am-1pm and 7-10pm on 0800 138 0509.

"I don't understand it any more than you do, but one thing I've learned is that you don't have to understand things for them to be." - Madeleine L'Engle, A Wrinkle in Time

No one gets it right all the time but we have support available to help you along every step of your parenting journey.

“You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing” - E.B.White, Charlotte’s Web

A friend that totally gets the struggles can make all the difference. Meeting parents of twins, triplets or more in your area can be a great support.

“Every human life is worth the same, and worth saving” – J.K.Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Between 2014 and 2016 your support helped save 305 babies’ lives. We want to continue this with our latest appeal, Research Rocks. Find out more here.

“There is nothing sweeter in this sad world than the sound of someone you love calling your name” – Kate DiCamillo, The Tale of Despereaux

There is no better feeling than at the end of a long day at work, your twins or triplets running towards you with open arms shouting Mama or Dada

And so for a time it looked as if all the adventure were coming to an end; but that was not to be” – C.S.Lewis, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

As they grow older it is normal to feel like they need you less as they develop their independence. The adventure is just beginning. Visit our adult multiples pages for information on driving, university and more.

And remember parents, no matter how old they get and where they move on to….

“There’s no place like home” – L.Frank Braum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
