Young Writers Competition

28th September 2016

Tamba is excited to launch its very first Young Writers Competition to celebrate all our multiples who have dreamed of seeing their work in print.

The Tamba UK Young Writers Competition is inviting teenagers to write on the subject of “Being A Teenage Twin/Triplet/Multiple”. This is your chance to explore what being part of a multiple family means to you in the genre of fiction.

The competition is open to all writers aged 13 to 19 currently living in the UK.

The deadline for entries is Sunday, 6 November 2016, which also marks the beginning of Multiple Birth Awareness Week.

During this week our panel of judges will select the winners, who will see their work published in a forthcoming edition of our Multiple Matters magazine.

CEO Keith Reed said: “The topic is very broad so we are excited to see what the entrants come up with.

“This is a great opportunity for a young writer to see their work in print in a magazine – it will make a great addition to their writing portfolio.”
